At Grove City Brewing Company & Plum Run Winery, community isn’t just part of our story – it’s the heart of everything we do. From day one, we’ve believed that great beer, great wine, and great food mean even more when they help support the people, organizations, and causes that make Grove City home. We’re proud to partner with local nonprofits, schools, charities, and community groups throughout the year through events, donations, fundraising collaborations, and our ongoing Round Up for Change program.
Ways We Support Our Community
🎟️ Fundraising Events
We host, sponsor, and collaborate on dozens of community-driven events, including:
- Silent auctions & raffle basket donations
- Community appreciation events
- Holiday giving campaigns
From large-scale fundraisers to intimate charity nights, our space has become a gathering place for causes that matter.
💵 Round Up for Change
Every month, we select a local organization or cause to receive the funds collected through our Round Up for Change program. Guests can round their bill to the nearest dollar, and 100% of those proceeds go directly to the featured group.
Past recipients have included:
- Local animal shelters
- Veterans’ organizations
- Food insecurity programs
- Special needs advocacy groups
- Community support service
This ongoing initiative has raised thousands of dollars for Grove City and the surrounding region.
🐾 Support for Local Animal Shelters
We regularly partner with and donate to organizations that advocate for animals, including:
- CHA Animal Shelter
- SPEAK! for the Unspoken
- Local rescue groups and adoption events
From fundraiser nights to donation drives, supporting animal welfare remains one of our core community pillars.
🇺🇸 Veterans & First Responder Support
Community heroes deserve community backing. We regularly host and support initiatives benefiting military members, veterans, and first responders, including partnerships with:
- Honor Flight Columbus
- Local veterans’ groups
🍽️ Fighting Food Insecurity
Food is at the heart of what we do – and we believe everyone deserves access to it. We support and collaborate with:
- Mid-Ohio Food Collective
- Food donation efforts
Through donation drives, we help feed families throughout Central Ohio.
🎁 In-Kind Donations & Raffle Contributions
Every year, we donate hundreds of dollars in gift cards, merch, and experiences to community raffles, auctions, and appreciation events. These contributions support:
- Festivals
- Neighborhood events
- Local nonprofits seeking event support
